Shipping from North Europe to the United States? A PSS update is coming up

A Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) update from North Europe to the United States is coming into effect. Following our previous PSS announcement in April, the peak season on this trade has further intensified. This PSS is applicable for Dry, Reefer and Special containers for all sailings commencing on August 10, 2026, until further notice.

The details for this PSS are listed below:

  • USD 500 per TEU for all container types

The Ocean Tariff rates as well as Bunker-related surcharges, Security-related surcharges and Terminal Handling Charges remain as announced and are valid until further notice. Please keep in mind that local and contingency charges may also apply.
