Shipping to or from the Eastern Caribbean Islands? Here’s an update on TAO & TAD Charges
Due to a recent increase in 3rd party feeder costs, the current Transport Additional Origin and Destination charges (TAO & TAD) to or from the Eastern Caribbean Islands* will be adjusted for cargo transported in 20’ and 40’ Dry and Reefer containers, as well as applicable Dry Dangerous Goods (DG) cargo.
- TAO (Transport Additional Origin) applies to export cargo.
- TAD (Transport Additional Destination) applies to import cargo.
The revised levels will apply from October 4, 2026 for non-FMC regulated countries and from October 14, 2026 for FMC regulated countries, and will remain applicable through March 7, 2027, in line with the applicable Peak Season period.
