Shipping from Indian Subcontinent, Pakistan & Middle East to North America? A GRI/GRA is coming up

Rates GRI GRA Middle East and Indian Subcontinent

A General Rate Increase (GRI) / General Rate Adjustment (GRA) from Indian Subcontinent, Pakistan & Middle East to North America for cargo transported in 20’ and 40’ Dry, Reefer and Special containers, including High Cube equipment, is coming up. This GRI/GRA is applicable to all containers gated in full from November 1, 2026, and is valid until further notice.

The amounts will be applicable as follows:

  • Indian Subcontinent, Pakistan & Middle East to North America East Coast and Gulf Coast: USD 1,000 per container
  • Indian Subcontinent, Pakistan & Middle East to North America West Coast: USD 1,500 per container
