The Philippines is an archipelagic country in Southeast Asia consisting of about 7,641 islands. With roughly 117 million inhabitants it is the 7th-most populated country in Asia and the 14th-most populated country in the world. As Hapag-Lloyd does not have an own office in the Philippines, it is represented by Ben Line Agencies.
Ben Line Agencies was appointed agent of Hapag-Lloyd in the Philippines on September 1, 2018, with offices in Manila, Cebu, and Davao.
In March 2025, Hapag-Lloyd has deployed their very first direct own service and vessels into the Philippines under the China-Philippines Feeder (CPF) service. The CPF service establishes a direct link between Nansha, Tanjung Pelepas, Singapore, Batangas, Manila and Subic improving trade connectivity for importers and exporters.
