Hapag-Lloyd started its shipping activities in Bangkok, Thailand in 1970 with the initial support from a local agency. On April 1, 2003, Hapag-Lloyd (Thailand) established its own office in Bangkok to handle all business activities including Sales, Customer Service and Operations. 

In August 2007, we have expanded the services to the Eastern and Southern areas of Thailand by setting up branch offices in Laem Chabang, Chonburi and appointed the Gulf Agency in Songkhla as Sub-Agent to handle port operations & services.

Our weekly services cover routes from/to Lat Krabang ICD, Bangna ICD, Laem Chabang port and Songkhla port to/from Asia, Middle-East, Austria-New Zealand, Europe, Africa and America. Hapag-Lloyd is offering dry and reefer containers as well as specialized equipment, such as open top, flat rack, and platforms for special- and out of gauge cargo.

Hapag-Lloyd enhances its services with various e-Business Channels, to serve customers with the online Booking, Shipping instruction, Container Tracing, Schedule Information and more via our Online Business and INTTRA Portal. With the significant support from customers in Thailand, Hapag-Lloyd has won the INTTRA awards as the “Carrier of the Year” for many years.
