In September, we launched our brand-new Customer Dashboard. Our customers worldwide will now be able to review how Hapag-Lloyd is delivering on its quality promises on both an individual and global basis.
“In recent months, we have announced the first four of what will ultimately be 10 quality promises, which relate to factors that we have identified as being the most crucial for how we work together with our customers. These promises need to be measured and monitored. Rather than keeping this information to ourselves, we want to share it with our customers, which will benefit both sides,” explains Juan Carlos Duk, Managing Director Global Commercial Development at Hapag-Lloyd AG. “This extraordinary transparency will boost the confidence our customers have in us and offer them enormous added value.”
How does the Dashboard work?
You can easily access the dashboard by using your Online Business account on a desktop, tablet or other mobile device. You can reach your personalized area via the Hapag-Lloyd Navigator login, where you can select which data you are most interested in viewing. For example, you can check to see how we delivered on a specific promise in a specific region over a specific period of time.
From here on, every customer can see Hapag-Lloyd’s performance on its quality promises and compare it with the targets we have set for ourselves. The dashboard currently provides data of our first four quality promises: “fast booking response”, “timely and correct bill of lading”, “accurate invoicing” and “loaded as booked”. The content on our dashboard will expand as we reveal our next six quality promises on a quarterly basis until the end of 2021. All 10 quality promises will be fully trackable.
However, there are two sides to every partnership. And to achieve top service, we will also require your support as a customer. Thus, our dashboard also shows how our customers – both individually and globally – are living up to their own commitments.
