From January 1, 2024, Lars Sorensen will become Senior Managing Director Region Middle East based in Dubai, AE. He will be succeeding Dheeraj Bhatia, who will become a new member of the Hapag-Lloyd Executive Board and CEO of the new Rotterdam-based Hapag-Lloyd Terminal Holding from January 1, 2024.
Sorensen joined Hapag-Lloyd five years ago and successfully led Area India as Managing Director, where he has proven his dedication, passion, and exceptional managerial skills, making him a natural fit for his new endeavour.
