Shipping from Pakistan to the UAE? A PSS is coming up

A Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) from Karachi and Port Qasim, Pakistan, to selected ports in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is coming up.

This PSS is applicable to Reefer containers for all sailings commencing on November 1, 2026, and is valid until November 15, 2026.

The details of this surcharge are listed below:

  • USD 500 per 20' Reefer Container
  • USD 500 per 40' High Cube Reefer Container

For your reference, the geographical scope of this surcharge is detailed below:

  • From Pakistan: Karachi and Port Qasim
  • To UAE: Khor Fakkan (KLF), Sharjah (SHJ), Fujairah (FJR), Umm Al Quwain (UQM), Ras al Khaimah (RKT) and Ajman (AJM)
