Here’s an Update on the Tariffing Date Change for India (for all Trades Except for the US)

Here’s an important update that we’d like to share with you. We have identified the tariffing date as one of the areas that enhances the simplicity of our booking processes and the invoice accuracy.

Therefore, we would like to inform you that as of August 20, 2021, we will change our current Tariffing Date policy from Gate In Full (GIFU) at Terminal to Sailing Date for all trades from India (except for US destinations). As a result, the tariffing of all shipments sailing as of August 20, 2021 will be done in line with the sailing date. The only exceptions from this rule are FMC-related destinations, for which we will continue to consider the gate-in of the shipment’s last container at ICD or port terminal.

This new policy will help us to streamline our booking process and improve the quality and turnaround time of our booking confirmation. With the new tariffing date policy, we will be able to offer more transparency about rate applicability and improve invoice accuracy.

Important Note In regards to your bookings:
We would like to remind you to include a valid quotation number according to the vessel’s Estimated Time of Departure (ETD) at the port of loading. Please note, that all surcharges on our quote are subject to change and valid at the time of sailing date.

If you require more information related to Ocean Tariff rates, please visit the tariff section of our website. As an alternative, please contact our customer service team at your location who will be happy to guide you based on your individual situation.
