Hapag-Lloyd operations in Korea started in 1971 (through a third party agent ) with a Far East / Europe service, followed by further Liner service expansions  to and from North America, Latin-America and Intra Asia, among others.

Hapag-Lloyd Korea has been established on January 1, 1998 as s subsidiary of Hapag-Lloyd AG, headquartered in Hamburg, Germany.

Through sophisticated IT solutions, Hapag-Lloyd Korea provides online services which enable our customers to get access to Vessel Schedules, Container Tracking and Tracing, online Booking, submission of  Shipping Instructions as well as access to a wide range of EDI solutions.

Hapag-Lloyd Korea main office is located in Seoul while all operational activities are managed through our office based in the Port of Busan.
