News & Customer Info

Hapag-Lloyd is pleased to introduce T-Mining’s Secure Container Release in the Ports of Poland on January 1st, 2025. This is part of our continuous efforts to make the supply chain more secure.Secure Container Release (SCR) is a platform developed by Information Technology company T-Mining. Commercial releases coming from the shipping line are distributed in a safe manner via blockchain and provided to the First Release Party (FRP). The FRP can re-transfer the release to the next party in the logistics chain. This can be another forwarder, but in most cases it will be the transport company.

Yours faithfully, Hapag Lloyd Area North Team

It is our aim to continuously improve our products as well as our service to you. This includes the correct and timely preparation of invoices.

In order to avoid misunderstandings and resulting invoice corrections, we kindly ask you:
-to refrain from using INCOterms instead of payment terms in your Shipping Instructions
-to add specific information regarding payment terms in the remarks field of your Shipping Instructions and stipulate precisely, particularly for Terminal Handling Charge Destination (THD) and Destination Landfreight (DLF), whether the charges shall be prepaid or collect – this will help us to ensure correct invoicing.

If not mentioned differently by you we will make use of our definition of prepaid and collect as follows:

If your Shipping Instructions are reflecting Basic Freight Prepaid / Freight Prepaid
All charges are prepaid excluding Terminal Handling Destination and Destination LandFreight related charges and other destination charges

Prepaid:
Origin Land Freight
Terminal Handling Origin
Other origin charges
Sea Freight

Collect:
Terminal Handling Destination
Destination Landfreight
Other destination charges

If your Shipping Instructions are reflecting Basic Freight Collect / Freight Collect

All charges are collect excluding Origin Landfreight and Terminal Handling Origin related charges and MTD charge

Prepaid:
Origin Land Freight
Terminal Handling Origin
Other origin charges (eg. MTD)

Collect:
Sea Freight
Terminal Handling Destination
Destination Landfreight
Other destination charges

Please also bear in mind that there might be some destination country rules and regulations which will predefine what can or can’t be prepaid/collect.

We appreciate your support in this matter, which will assist in providing a better service to you.

Dear Valued Customer,

Please be informed that one of our feeder vessels will be undergoing a scheduled drydocking, thus we had to implement void sailing on PEX service in weeks 13 and 14. During this time, alternative sailings will be available for your cargo, but for technical reasons, our Online Schedule may not show all routing options from the port of Gdynia, Poland.

To find earlier departures, we kindly ask that you change the search in our Interactive Schedule from Plus 4 weeks to Plus 1 week until the vessel is phased in again after drydocking. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we assure you that our team is working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.

We remain committed to providing you with the highest level of service and reliability, and we thank you for your understanding and patience during this period of maintenance. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Service:
