175 modern ships, 7.4 million TEU (Twenty-foot Equivalent Unit) transported per year, approx. 9,300 motivated staff at more than 360 locations in 118 countries. Hapag-Lloyd is a leading global liner shipping company and a powerful partner for you.

Hapag-Lloyd offers a fleet with a total capacity of 955,000 TEU, as well as a container stock of more than 1.6 million TEU including one of the world’s largest and most modern reefer container fleets. A global network of 122 liner services guarantees fast and reliable connections between all continents.

The owners of Hapag-Lloyd are CSAV (31.4%), the City of Hamburg (20.6%), Kühne Maritime (20.2%), TUI (12.3%) plus a free float of 15.5% (percentages have been rounded and the free float includes institutional shareholders with a shareholding of less than 5%).
