Import to Bangladesh: Submission of the Advance Cargo Manifest

We would like to inform you that reference circular File No. 1 (44) Customs: Mod / Pre-Arrival processing (PAP) dated April 3, 2019 from the National Board of Revenue (NBR), the Import General Manifest (IGM) is to be filed before the Bangladesh bound vessel departure from last Port of Call with effect from July 1, 2019.

It will be mandatory to complete the documentation process incorporating mandatory elements prior submission of IGM. For incomplete documentation, container(s) cannot be loaded on Bangladesh bound vessel departing from last port of call.

Hapag-Lloyd will file IGM 48 hours prior vessel departure from last port of call and forwarder’s should file 24 hours prior if House BL is relevant.
