Egypt – Revision of Detention Import Free Time for Standard Containers

We would like to inform you that effective December 19, 2019 the free time for standard containers (detention import / MHD) applicable for all import volumes to Egyptian ports will become 10 days.
This will be applicable to all commodities with the exception of “Foodstuff” for which 21 days will be granted.
