Australia – Revision of Melbourne Terminal Handling Destination (THD)
Effective April 1, 2020, we will increase the Melbourne Terminal Handling Destination (THD) Surcharge in Melbourne by AUD 9.75 per 20’ and AUD 19.50 / 40’.
The increase is in support of the Port Rail Transformation Project from Melbourne Port Authorities to develop and improve the port’s rail access.
The new Melbourne THD effective April 1, 2020 will be as follows:
The THC will apply for all trades, including trades to and from Europe.
The following rates remain unchanged:
- Ocean Tariff rates
- Bunker-related surcharges
- Security-related surcharges
- Peak Season surcharges (if applicable)
- Other Terminal Handling Charges
