USA – New York Ports Container Facilities Charge

We will implement a Container Facilities Charge on all laden cargo containers discharged from or loaded onto vessels at PANYNJ (Port Authority of New York and New Jersey) terminals. This applies for both imports and exports. This cargo based fee shall be collected as a pass through charge for remittance to the Port Authority.

Charges for Exports (NPO) will be implemented with effect from May 1, 2020 and Imports (NPD) will be implemented with effect from April 20, 2020:

The charges are $10.13 for 20 ft. containers and $ 20.26 for 40 ft. containers respectively of all types.
