Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) - Area Med Agents to the West Coast South America, Caribbean and Central America

In a continued effort to provide you with a high level of service, uninterrupted liner services and equipment supply, Hapag-Lloyd will apply a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) for all cargo from Albania, Algeria, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Georgia, Croatia, Israel, Lebanon, Lybia, Morocco, Montenegro, Malta, Romania, Slovenia, Syria, Tunisia, Ukraine, Novorossiysk, Russia to the West Coast South America as well as to Central America and the Caribbean.

Effective as of March 1, 2021 and valid until further notice the PSS will be applied with:

  • USD 150 per TEU (for all container types)

To Puerto Rico, Colombia and Ecuador, the PSS increase will be effective as of March 16, 2021.

The Ocean Tariff rates as well as Bunker-related surcharges, Security-related surcharges, Terminal Handling Charges (THCs) remain unchanged respectively as announced and can be found here.

Other local charges and contingency surcharges may apply in addition.
