Ghana – Tax charge update

The Parliament of Ghana has passed three new tax laws and amended two existing laws to be implemented in 2021. One of which is the “COVID -19 Health Recovery Levy Act, 2021 (Act 1068)”.

With this new Act, corporate organizations are to impose a 1% levy on the supply of goods and services in the country other than exempt goods and services effective May 1, 2021.

To comply with this new regulation, our invoices will be updated effective May 1, 2021 to reflect the updated Tax charge of 1%. We kindly request you to take note of this upcoming changes accordingly.
