Djibouti, Africa - Payment terms for RHD Charges
Subsequent to our Customer News dated April 23, 2019 advising the introduction of the Receiving, Handling and Delivery (RHD) Charge in Djibouti for import shipments, please be advised that effective immediately, payment terms for same have been linked to freight payment location.
If the freight is on "prepaid basis" then the RHD will be prepaid, and if the freight is on "collect basis", then the RHD will be collect.
Charges will apply for all trades, including trades to and from Europe. The Ocean Base rates as well as Bunker related surcharges, Terminal Handling, Security related surcharges, Peak Season surcharges (if applicable) and other charges remain unchanged and for European trades these can be found here. Other local charges and contingency surcharges may apply.
