Equipment Imbalance Surcharge - Exports from North Europe (excl. UK and Ireland)

Due to the ongoing equipment shortage in North Europe, the overall repositioning costs to serve our customer’s requirements have increased significantly.

Therefore, we would like to inform you that effective January 15, 2021 Hapag-Lloyd will implement an Equipment Imbalance Surcharge for 40’ standard dry and 40’ high cube dry containers for all exports from North Europe (excl. UK & Ireland).
