Doing business in Benelux? Here’s an update

At Hapag-Lloyd, we put our customers at the center of everything we do. With every tool that we develop, we also get your feedback that is extremely valuable for our continuous improvement.

With your feedback, we have introduced more automation to reduce the high frequency of updates on booking confirmations. We recognize that you receive updated booking confirmations with every vessel schedule change, at the exactly when it happens. This can lead to a possible overcommunication, that can sometimes create a frustrating situation for you.

Keeping your feedback in mind, we are proud to announce that we built an automated solution for the Benelux ports that helps reduce the booking announcements’ frequency, provide more precise information and overall, an create an improved experience of doing business with us.

The key features of our automated solutions can be summarized in two key elements:

  • We now have automated updates of our Benelux schedules that allow us to automatically update all sailing details at once when the changes are approved
  • With all closing times being updated automatically at once, there will be a reduced frequency of booking confirmation updates
