Shipping from Egypt to North Europe? Here’s a price announcement for peak season

A Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) is coming into effect for all dry cargo from Egypt to all ports served in North Europe. This PSS is effective from September 21, 2021 based on the schedule’s departure date until further notice.

The details for this PSS are listed below, and are applicable to all dry cargo (all types of standard container except special and reefer equipment):

• 20' Dry Container: USD 300 ex-Alexandria
• 40' Dry Container: USD 300 ex-Alexandria
• 20' Dry Container: USD 300 ex-Damietta
• 40' Dry Container: USD 400 ex-Damietta

The Ocean Tariff rates as well as Bunker-related surcharges, Security-related surcharges, Terminal Handling Charges (THCs) remain as announced and can be found here. Please note that other local charges and contingency surcharges may apply.
