Shipping from Asia to Latin America? A GRI is coming up

A General Rate Increase (GRI) from Asia* (excluding Japan) to the West Coast of Latin America, Mexico, Caribbean and Central America**, for cargo transported in 20’ and 40’ Dry containers, including High Cube equipment and 40’ Non-operative reefers is coming up. This GRI is applicable to all containers from December 1 , 2023, and is valid until further notice.

The details for this increase are listed below:

• 20' Dry Container: USD 500 
• 40' Dry Container: USD 1000
• 40' High Cube Container: USD 1000
• 40’ Non-operative Reefer Container: USD 1000
